-BV Black Full Knit Collar Jacket
There is no part of the jacket that isn’t made of knitting. From the front to the back, and from the sleeves to the collar, the entire jacket is composed of thin black leather strips interlaced together. At a distance, it looks like a plain-colored short jacket, but upon closer inspection, one can see the dense diamond-shaped patterns on the surface—each pattern consists of one leather strip pressing against another. The craftsmanship is so precise that any cracks or irregularities are barely visible.
The black leather is fully knitted, with each strip having a smooth surface. The smooth leather has subtle gloss variations at different angles, preventing the jacket from appearing too dull or heavy. The overall thickness of the jacket is moderate, providing a comfortable fit without being rigid. When worn, it has a natural slimming effect.
The knitting is seamlessly integrated into the material, with no seams visible. The collar height is appropriate, fitting well around the neck but not being too tight. When the zipper is closed, the collar folds naturally, creating a slightly raised collar that provides a comfortable fit. The knitting patterns at the collar fold are continuous, indicating high craftsmanship standards.
There is a silver metal zipper along the front of the jacket, running from the collar to the bottom. The zipper head is a rectangular silver metal piece with the words “BOTTEGA VENETA” engraved on it. The zipper teeth are silver-colored, creating a contrast with the black knitted leather. The knitting patterns on both sides of the zipper are perfectly symmetrical. The back has no zippers, pockets, or any other hardware; it’s simply a blank surface made of knitted leather, looking like a carefully crafted canvas.
The interior is lined with black satin fabric, which feels smooth against the skin. This creates an experience of “rough outside, smooth inside” when wearing the jacket. There is a white label on the inner side of the collar, bearing the words “BOTTEGA VENETA” and “MADE IN ITALY”.
